To ensure ice doesn't melt during storage, the Ice-O-Matic CIM0836HA/B40PS ice machine with bin is insulated with foam, and it has a polyethylene liner that provides resistance against corrosion. For durability, the bin is made of aluminum, and it's mounted on adjustable 6-inch legs that stabilize it on uneven surfaces. The bin holds 344 pounds of ice, and the head makes anywhere from 711 to 896 pounds of ice daily, depending on environmental conditions.

The Ice-O-Matic CIM0836HA/B40PS half-cube ice maker has a dual exhaust that discharges air from the top and side, and the condenser is air cooled and self-contained to streamline installation and reduce the risk of cross contamination. PURE ICE antimicrobial is built into the unit to slow the growth of bacteria, and sanitizing and descaling is performed with the push of a button. To clean the food zone's components, they can be removed and placed in the dishwasher.
