Garland SHBA5000 Description

The Garland SHBA5000 commercial induction cooktop uses a dense copper coil to create a magnetic field over the cook surface. When an induction-ready pan is placed on this surface, the electrons in the metal will vibrate, generating heat for cooking. Compared to standard electric and gas equipment, this type of technology improves energy efficiency, speeds up cooking with quicker response time, and keeps kitchens cooler.

Sloped for accessibility, the front panel on this Garland SHBA5000 countertop induction cooktop has a 12-level power setting dial. Energy automatically transmits to the pan when it is placed on the cooktop, but a protection feature prevents dry operation, which could damage the components. To keep the electrical components from overheating, a cooling fan is built into the unit. It also has air deflectors to keep hot exhaust out and a grease filter to prevent harmful vapors from harming the cooktop.
